There are 7 secondary schools, 8 school-kindergartens. Two schools out of fifteen are located in the town, 13 – in rural areas. A total of 3,020 children are enrolled in the educational establishments of the region.
The center of children’s art comprises 31 hobby groups enrolling 465 kids, a training-production center of 24 groups enrolling 512 students.
The Korma center of developing education caters for children with psychophysiological disabilities.
In the 2004-2005 academic year secondary school #2 in Korma opened advanced placement classes in physics and math, philology, chemistry and biology.
Korma secondary school #1 is set to follow suit in the next academic year.
Opening of advanced placement classes is seen to help increase the quality of education, create a wholesome environment to help students enter institutions of higher learning.
Some 78 per cent of the students in the region are covered by all kind of differentiated education.
